Hi, I’m Nadine, South Shore Real Estate Agent and Blog writer. After moving to the South Shore from Pennsylvania, I’m all about discovering and sharing the best local spots and hidden gems on the blog. I love exploring this beautiful area and helping others experience it for the first time or through a fresh perspective. We found our “Current Scituation” after spending time on Nantucket. We weren’t quite able to afford real estate on Nantucket (IYKYK), so we searched for something that had the same vibes. After exploring the Cape, we found the South Shore, and more specifically Scituate. I bet there’s a South Shore town that’s just right for you too! We purchased a home in December of 2023, and now I’m a South Shore real estate agent and blog writer.
Scituate Harbor is filled with coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Welch Company delivers on decor, design, and beyond. We love The Salt Society for drinks and dinner, with their focus on craft cocktails and sushi. Finally, Lucky Finn is the place to stop for coffee with a killer harbor view. Grab your coffee and pull up a stool on the back deck. South Shore is a year round place, meaning everything is open, even in the dead of winter, which isn’t always the case for the Cape and Islands.
It’s easy to see why I’m focused on sharing the life on the South Shore and helping you find a home or sell a home as a South Shore real estate agent. Whether you’re thinking about a move or just curious about where we explore next, please read on. Let’s connect to talk real estate or coastal living.
If you’re drawn to salt air, small-town charm, and that unmistakable feeling of “I could stay here a while,” then Scituate deserves your attention. This local’s guide to Scituate, MA shares all the tea! This is one of those South Shore towns that doesn’t try too hard. It just is. A working harbor, a strong sense of community, and miles of coastline that feel authentic, not overdone. Whether you’re thinking about moving here or just spending more time here, this is your real-life guide to Scituate. Why People Love…
If you’re exploring the South Shore of Massachusetts, the coastal towns usually get all the attention. But the inland South Shore towns are where a lot of people actually land. You’ll often find more space, less traffic, and a bit more house for your money, while still being close enough to the coast to make beaches part of your everyday life. This is the other side of the South Shore. The neighborhoods that feel lived-in, grounded, and a little more everyday in the best possible way. If you’re considering a move,…
When you spend time on the South Shore, you start to realize it’s not one thing; the South Shore is coastal towns and inland towns. It’s a stretch of coastline, yes, but it’s also inland neighborhoods, winding back roads, marshes, and those blink-and-you-miss-it town centers that somehow hold everything together. Some towns lean into the ocean. Others sit just behind it, a little quieter, a little more tucked away. And that’s kind of the magic. You can choose your version of coastal life here. But if you’re here…
Book review of “The Stargazer of Nantucket” launching on June 9, 2026 by author Julie Gerstanblatt, your first Nantucket beach read of 2026, and Nantucket writers retreat. In March of 2025, almost a year ago now, I was in the very beginning of my “creative pivot” after my corporate job was eliminated. The questions of what do I want to do and how do I want to do it were top of mind. And of course, how would I make money?? I reached out to my network, far…
